Overview

Napoli 1820 Pizzeria - Milano, nestled along the charming Alzaia Naviglio Grande, offers an authentic taste of Naples right in the heart of Milan. This cozy restaurant stands out not only for its prime location overlooking the iconic canal but also for its inviting atmosphere that blends warmth with Italian charm. It’s a spot where both locals and visitors can enjoy a genuine Italian dining experience away from crowded tourist hubs.

The star of the menu is undoubtedly the pizza. True to its Neapolitan roots, the Pizza Margherita Con Bufala captivates with a perfectly blistered, thin crust and fresh, creamy buffalo mozzarella, embodying simplicity and depth of flavor. Diners seeking something fresh from the sea will appreciate the celebrated seafood pizza and the elegantly prepared fritto di calamaretti paired with crispy zucchini, which deliver a delightful crunch balanced with local freshness.

Beyond pizza, Napoli 1820 presents a thoughtful range of dishes that reflect Southern Italy’s rich culinary traditions. From the hearty Ziti Alla Genovese to the tender Polpettine Al Ragù Napoletano, and the refined Tagliata Di Manzo garnished with arugula and Parmesan, the menu caters to varied palates while maintaining consistent quality.

The setting enhances the meal with a cozy, intimate feel—ideal for casual dinners or relaxed gatherings. Customers consistently praise the attentive and kind service, which complements the rustic yet comfortable ambiance. Seating just steps from the canal offers a scenic backdrop that evokes the timeless elegance of Milan’s Navigli district, creating a perfect blend of culinary delight and visual pleasure.

While the wine selection by the glass could see refinement, the well-curated beers and classic Italian aperitifs like Aperol add to the overall experience. Desserts such as the creamy pistachio cheesecake and the traditional Torta Caprese provide a sweet finish echoing the rich flavors of Southern Italy.

Ideal for lovers of authentic Italian pizza, fresh seafood, and classic regional dishes, Napoli 1820 Pizzeria appeals to diners seeking quality without pretense. The combination of excellent food, welcoming staff, and a prime location makes it a must-visit spot in Milan's bustling culinary scene. Whether you come for the pizza, the sea-inspired appetizers, or simply to soak in the canal views, you leave with a genuine taste of Italy’s vibrant dining culture.

Superb restaurant. Service was attentive friendly and fast. Super venue overlooking the canal. And two minutes further along the canal than most restaurants means it’s better value and less crowded as most people are too lazy to go another 100m Food was exquisite. Grilled octopus was tender and so tasty. Pizzas were perfect- crispy crust with such a great flavoured tomato sauce and excellent toppings. Can’t get better pizza anywhere imho Definitely recommend
